Terms and Conditions
Fokus Empathie Ltd. is a Swiss company governed by Swiss law, with no representation in the EU. The Swiss Code of Obligations applies.
Number of participants
For face-to-face, hybrid and virtual seminars: Usually held with a minimum of 4 participants (NVC beginners with a minimum of 1 participant).
Usually between 4 and 20 participants.
Registration
Please register via the page for the relevant seminar.
Registration is considered final.
Payment
As soon as the minimum number of participants has been reached, at the latest 2 weeks before the start of the seminar, you will receive further details about the event.
When registering, you have various payment options: credit card, PayPal, TWINT, bank transfer. If you choose bank transfer, you will receive the account information in the order confirmation.
Upon confirmation of the seminar, you will receive an invoice for payment or, if you have already made an advance payment, for information/accounting purposes.
Please settle the amount before the seminar begins.
Payment by instalments is available on request.
Resignation
If you wish to cancel your registration, the following provisions apply:
Up to 60 days before the start of the seminar, we charge a processing fee of CHF 50.
From 59 to 14 days before the start of the seminar, we will charge 50% of the seminar costs. Less than 14 days before the start of the seminar, we will charge the full seminar costs. The same applies to cancellations during the seminar.
If you find a replacement participant to take your place, no costs will be incurred. We only accept cancellations in writing and will confirm these.
If you have made reservations at the seminar locations, please note their cancellation policies.
Please check the possibility of taking out travel cancellation insurance/cancellation insurance for further training, which may cover your seminar costs.
Catch up
If, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control, you are unable to attend a seminar day or seminar block at short notice, you can make up for the missed part at no extra cost.
Cancellation/postponement of the event
If there are fewer than 4 registrations 14 days before the seminar begins, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the seminar. If the new dates are not convenient for you, we will refund all payments made to date in full. Such cancellation or postponement will not result in any reduction in costs.
Disclaimer
Participants are fully responsible for their own physical and mental health before, during and after the seminar.
Similarly, we accept no liability for items or other types of claims.
Certificate
After completing the seminar, you will receive a personal certificate of attendance.
Credibility
GFK seminars are eligible as training for certification as a trainer in nonviolent communication at the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC.org).
