NVC Basics: Elements and Technique

NVC – Sounds exciting. But what exactly is it?
You've heard of non-violent communication.
Maybe you've picked up something about feelings, needs and requests – but somehow you're still missing the big picture?
Then this day is just right for you to get a clear picture:
What exactly are these 4 elements of NVC – and how do they work in real life?
Who is this day intended for?
For people who say:
"I've heard of NVC – now I want to know what it's really all about."
You don't need any prior knowledge, just curiosity and a desire for honest encounters.
And don't worry: humour is welcome too – we take things seriously, but not too seriously.
A day that shows you what NVC really is – beyond theory. Clear, lively, suitable for everyday use.
What you'll take away:
- A solid basic understanding of the elements of NVC.
- Initial experience in practical application.
- Aha moments about your communication behaviour.
- Inspiration about whether NVC could be your path – for more connection, clarity and ease in your interactions with others.
On this course day, you will receive a clear introduction to the four basic elements of NVC that you can apply in everyday life:
- Observation – how to stop judging and start truly perceiving
- Feeling – how to recognise what is alive within you
- Needs – how to uncover the core of your concerns
- Requests – how to express what you need without demanding
You will also learn about the 13-step process – a kind of inner map that you can use to navigate challenging conversations.
Information blocks and teaching discussions introduce exercises in which you are supported by trainers. Reflection and debriefing deepen the experience. We work in a process-oriented manner with various media and methodologies to make the experience varied, enjoyable and easy. We place great emphasis on the 20-minute rule, which states that theoretical input should not exceed 20 minutes.
This course is also the second day of the two-day introductory seminar "Beginners". Face-to-face course.
Introduction to Marshall B. Rosenberg's method of non-violent communication. For those who are new to the subject.
